Always consider the truthfulness of what you're going to share. Be discerning, especially when people begin to trust in your discernment. Hold on to facts, to evidence, to logic, and to reason. But don't forget that sincerity is the most important form of truthfulness, for it involves being true to one's convictions, values, and feelings.

Choose your words wisely. Some words can hurt, but others can heal. Some can divide, but others can unite.

Some people will try to refute what you're going to say. The natural impulse is to be defensive, but the noble response is one that is humble and gracious.

Some people will disagree with your points of view. Welcome their dissent, always remind yourself that you can be wrong, so that when others correct you, your response will be gratitude.

Even when you're convinced that you are absolutely right, resist the temptation of humiliating people and rubbing in the flaws of their contentions.

Don't let your desire to be proven right get in the way of being nice to people.

Don't let your desire to be vindicated lead you to vindictiveness.

Never fight hate with hate, just as it has been said that one must never fight fire with fire. Avoid posting something out of anger or frustration. If someone insults you, you are no different if you insult them back.

Draw inspiration from the people who like or share your posts but never make them the sole measure of your success. A popular lie will go viral, but an inconvenient truth may go unnoticed.

Don't give up on social media. When you dwell too much on the negative, you lose sight of the positive. Not all the hatred in the Internet can nullify the fact that life is beautiful and we can see glimmers of this beauty in people's posts that make us laugh and smile.

As for what you write, even just one person who profits from it makes it worthwhile - and you never know what your drop in the bucket will help lead to.

A rich man took his son for a trip to see what it was like to be poor

This is a story about a wealthy man and his son and the journey they took which opened their eyes to a whole new meaning of being rich and the most important things in life.
One day, just like any other day, a wealthy man took his son on a trip to the country. He wanted to show his son how poor people live and what it actually means to be poor. They found a family with a farm, a very poor family and spend a few nights with them. When they returned home the father asked his how he liked the journey.
“It was great, Dad,” the son replied. “Did you see how poor people can be?” the father asked. “Oh Yeah,” said the son.
“So what did you learn from the trip?” asked the father. The son answered:

“I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.
We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.” The boy’s father was speechless. Then his son added, “It showed me how poor we are.”
This story serves to remind us about the true value of things in life. It serves to remind us on how too many times we focus on the material side of things, failing to see what truly matters in life. And we can’t understand that it’s all about how we see things in life, it all depends on our perspective. What is one person’s worthless object is another’s prize possession. It all depends on our perspective.
We should be thankful for the things we have and not be jealous for the things other have. The better we understand this the better persons we become. And that’s the most important thing in life!

How to get your ideal heart rate when doing exercises

Some of us is taking very hard at ourselves during exercises. We exert to much and push ourselves further..beyond limit.

Keep in mind that there is an ideal intensity zone depending as we aged.

Here is a simple guide:

The basic way to calculate your maximum heart rate is to subtract your age from 220. For example, if you're 30 years old, subtract 30 from 220 to get a maximum heart rate of 190. This is the maximum number of times your heart should beat per minute while you're exercising.

Once you know your maximum heart rate, you can calculate your desired target heart rate zone — the level at which your heart is being exercised and conditioned but not overworked.

Here's how heart rate matches up with exercise intensity levels:

    Moderate exercise intensity: 50 to 70 percent of your maximum heart rate
    Vigorous exercise intensity: 70 to 85 percent of your maximum heart rate

If you're not fit or you're just beginning an exercise program, aim for the lower end of your target zone (50 percent). Then, gradually build up the intensity. If you're healthy and want a vigorous intensity, opt for the higher end of the zone.

The Two Pots

It was a cyclonic season. There was flood everywhere.

Many houses drowned in the flood. There was a copper pot and an earthen pot in a house. Both these were washed away in the flood to a river.

The copper pot called the earthen pot and said, "My friend, you are made of mud. You are so weak. Please, come near me. I'll save you".

The earthen pot replied, "Thank you for your kindness, my friend. But, let me swim to the bank by myself'. 

The earthen pot began to swim towards the bank of the river.

As the copper pot tried to swim, water got filled into the pot and the copper pot drowned. But earthen pot reached the bank.

The Roman officer who guarded James watched amazed as James defended his faith at his trial. Later, the officer Walked beside James to the place of execution. Overcome by conviction, he declared his new faith to the judge and Knelt beside James to accept beheading as a Christian.

Also known as Nathaniel Was a missionary to Asia. He witnessed for our Lord in present day Turkey. Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in Armenia where he was flayed to death by a whip.

Was crucified on an x-shaped cross in Patras, Greece. After being whipped severely by seven soldiers they tied his body to the cross with cords to prolong his agony. His followers reported that, when he was led toward the cross, Andrew saluted it in these words: 'I have long desired and expected this happy hour. The cross has been consecrated by the body of Christ hanging on it.' He continued to preach to his tormentors For two days until he expired.

When one overthinks, judgments may get cloudy and stress level gets elevated. One must need empty hir mind from time to time. Take brains to some relaxing state.

1. Awareness is the beginning of change.

Before you can begin to address or cope with your habit of overthinking, you need to learn to be aware of it when it's happening. Any time you find yourself doubting or feeling stressed or anxious, step back and look at the situation and how you're responding. In that moment of awareness is the seed of the change you want to make.

2. Don't think of what can go wrong, but what can go right.

In many cases, overthinking is caused by a single emotion: fear. When you focus on all the negative things that might happen, it's easy to become paralyzed. Next time you sense that you starting to spiral in that direction, stop. Visualize all the things that can go right and keep those thoughts present and up front.

3. Distract yourself into happiness.

Sometimes it's helpful to have a way to distract yourself with happy, positive, healthy alternatives. Things like mediation, dancing, exercise, learning an instrument, knitting, drawing, and painting can distance you from the issues enough to shut down the overanalysis.

4. Put things into perspective.

It's always easy to make things bigger and more negative than they need to be. The next time you catch yourself making a mountain out of a molehill, ask yourself how much it will matter in five years. Or, for that matter, next month. Just this simple question, changing up the time frame, can help shut down overthinking.

5. Stop waiting for perfection.

This is a big one. For all of us who are waiting for perfection, we can stop waiting right now. Being ambitious is great but aiming for perfection is unrealistic, impractical, and debilitating. The moment you start thinking "This needs to be perfect" is the moment you need to remind yourself, "Waiting for perfect is never as smart as making progress."

6. Change your view of fear.

Whether you're afraid because you've failed in the past, or you're fearful of trying or overgeneralizing some other failure, remember that just because things did not work out before does not mean that has to be the outcome every time. Remember, every opportunity is a new beginning, a place to start again.

7. Put a timer to work.

Give yourself a boundary. Set a timer for five minutes and give yourself that time to think, worry, and analyze. Once the timer goes off, spend 10 minutes with a pen and paper, writing down all the things that are worrying you, stressing you, or giving you anxiety. Let it rip. When the 10 minutes is up, throw the paper out and move on--preferably to something fun.

8. Realize you can't predict the future.

No one can predict the future; all we have is now. If you spend the present moment worrying about the future, you are robbing yourself of your time now. Spending time on the future is simply not productive. Spend that time instead on things that give you joy.

9. Accept your best.

The fear that grounds overthinking is often based in feeling that you aren't good enough--not smart enough or hardworking enough or dedicated enough. Once you've given an effort your best, accept it as such and know that, while success may depend in part on some things you can't control, you've done what you could do.

10. Be grateful.

You can't have a regretful thought and a grateful thought at the same time, so why not spend the time positively? Every morning and every evening, make a list of what you are grateful for. Get a gratitude buddy and exchange lists so you have a witness to the good things that are around you.

The Bridge and the Axe

One day, a hunter was caught in a storm at the middle of the forest. When the rain subsided, he decided to return to his house. However, to his dismay, he found out that the bridge leading to his house had been destroyed by the storm. With no one to turn to but God, the hunter prayed, "Lord, please give me a bridge."

Just after a minute, an angel holding an axe flow towards him and gave him the axe.

"Angel," the hunter protested, "there must be a mistake. I prayed for a bridge, not an axe."

"God can easily give you a bridge if He wants to," the angel answered. "But then God does not desire to spoil you. He is giving you this axe so you can cut wood and build a bridge."

With that, the angel left.

When we were in high school, we are ask to memorize this poem. I could still remember every lines of it, trying to memorize under the mango tree at school. This become one of my favorite poem.. Simple yet describes all facet of life.

and remember what peace there may be in silence.

be on good terms with all persons.

and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.

After dinner the teacher started checking homework done by the students. Her husband is strolling around with a smart phone playing his favourite game Candy Crush!

When she was reading some of the notes, the wife started to cry in silence.

Wife: Yesterday I gave homework to my 4th grade students to write something on topic about "My Wish".

Husband: Okay, but why are you crying?
